Oxygen in the Atmosphere
We humans need oxygen to breathe.
At sea-level (or ground level, if you don't happen to live on a boat) there is lots of oxygen. Up high, where jet planes fly, there is not much. That's one reason that jets can go so fast.

So how can I breathe then, smarty pants?
The air pressure
is low at altitude
so it is cold outside.
