Safety Demonstration
Like I said, each safety demonstration will be a little bit different. All of the information in the briefing is summarised on the SAFETY DEMONSTRATION CARD, which will be in the seat pocket in front of or next to you.
ALL safety briefings include (although the order may be different):
Seatbelt
How to put it on and how to release it
Lifejacket
Where can I find it, how do I put it on, and how do I inflate it?
Nearest Exits
What would be the quickest way out of the aircraft in a hurry? Could I find my way with my eyes shut or in the dark?
Oxygen Masks
When would they drop down, how do I put one one, and how do I us it?
Special Stuff
Each airline will have some special stuff it wants to tell you, and there may be special equipment you need to know about depending on where you are flying. For example, for overwater flights they might tell you about the liferafts on board.
READ THE SAFETY CARD!
This will tell you extra stuff you may need to know.
Let's talk about some of the things in the demonstration...
It is better
to know than
not to know.
